What the park charges on top
The rate above buys you a bed. Lower Zambezi National Park charges its own entry fee for every day you are inside. Here is what that adds up to.

Indicative 2026 rates from operators' own rate cards, gathered July 2026. Always confirm with the lodge. Two things shift the real comparison here. First, camps inside the park add $85 to $120 per person per night in bundled park and conservation fees, and most quote that separately. Second, camps in the Chiawa game management area carry no national park entry fee at all unless you cross into the park, which is why a GMA bed can work out far cheaper than the headline rate suggests.

Is Lolebezi good for families?
Yes. Lolebezi markets itself as suitable for all ages and has a family suite with its own plunge pool alongside four standard suites and a villa configuration. African Bush Camps' published terms set children aged 0 to 6 free when sharing with adults, 7 to 15 at half the adult rate, and 16 and over at the full adult rate.
Can you self-drive to Lolebezi?
Lolebezi's own materials do not detail self-drive directions, and the camp advertises dates running close to year-round. Our own research found road access to this camp can still fail in the rains despite that, so confirm how you will actually reach it if you are travelling outside the main April to November season.
